I just noticed I can look at other people's "reading" pages, so that's helpful if I'm not subscribed to many people.

Also I might not want to make a post for every minor discovery like this, so this post is here for me or others to add them as comments. I have IP tracking is turned off for comments (for logged in users)

Has anyone tried using the bell icon to track when posts get comments?

You can also go to a community and read member posts instead of recent entries, to get their posts that weren't posted to the community.

The bell icon can notify you when someone posts with a particular one of their tags (under More Options)

I've belled a post for comments. It seems to work fine. I don't know if you're looking for more specific information than that.

That's what I was after, I've tried it but not on any posts that have then had new comments

You can hover over the icon beside someone's name to get an option to subscribe without going to a separate page to choose between subscribe and grant access. On iOS, tap the icon briefly. On android, long-tap, then press back to get rid of the context menu.
