I previously knew him from his talks on YouTube about topology and Klein bottles. But then I saw this one:
Two of my favourite things about L came to mind:
He has his feet up on his chair that way L does.
And his persistent curiosity tracking someone down.
Not to say they're the same in general - Cliff also has this amazing physical enthusiasm when he's explaining stuff, and L seemed dangerous and more serious.
